“Koza” means cocoon in Turkish, an accurate description of both the Silk Road inspiration for this colorful wrap garment and the cozy warmth you’ll experience wearing it.
Uneek stripes are combined with Monokrom ombre in a textured herringbone stitch. Either border the wrap with a slip stitch rib along the body and cuffs, or leave it a plain and simple throw-on piece for any weather.
Designed by Catherine Bayar Offers 2 versions in the same pattern. Cuffed Rib (6 skeins) and Uncuffed (4 skeins) Koza uses Monokrom Worsted and Uneek Worsted
This yarn is a play on fiber and construction. The outside of the yarn is created in a tubular fashion using the soft viscose fiber. As the tube is created, soft cotton fiber is blown down the inside to spread the tube and add to the size of the finished yarn. This process makes the yarn appear bulky but it is in fact very light. The finished yarn is dyed deep rich shades in solid and print that highlights any and every stitch worked.
